:Biography of Martyr Haji Khadem
Son of Seyed Mohammad, grandson of Ali Reza (1924–1979) Martyr Haji Khadem was born in 1924 (1303 in the solar Hijri calendar) into a devout Muslim family in the village of Joi Zangi, Sangshanda, in the central district of Behsud, Wardak Province, Afghanistan. He spent his childhood in his birthplace and pursued his early education at the local mosque, where he studied the Holy Quran and the four introductory books of traditional Islamic learning. He was skilled in both handwriting and printed script and was particularly talented in mathematical calculations. During his teenage years, after the death of his father, the responsibility of the family fell upon his shoulders. Under the care of his honorable mother and elder brother, Nazer Hussein, he worked diligently to provide for his family. He completed his mandatory military service in the Afghan Labor Forces, serving as a baker at the Mahipar Dam along the Kabul–Jalalabad Road. During his free time, he worked with German engineers to earn additional income for his family. He would recount that he worked nights in the bakery and spent his days without rest, assisting the German engineers.After completing his military service, he engaged in small-scale trade and business in nearby villages. Martyr Haji Khadem was a brave, generous, and kind-hearted man. He sympathized with the poor and orphans and often provided them with assistance. Over time, he became known as an influential and respected merchant in his region. He was intelligent, alert, and hardworking, maintaining good relations with people of all ethnic groups across Afghanistan. Known for his hospitality, he frequently invited schoolteachers and religious scholars to his home, encouraging them to unite and cooperate in educating and nurturing the nation’s youth. In 1978 (1357 solar Hijri), Haji Khadem moved from Sang Shanda to Kabul. When the People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan came to power and began oppressing the Afghan people, he joined the Mujahideen of central Behsud district. In 1979 (1358 solar Hijri), government forces under the command of Shahnawaz Tanai attacked the Mujahideen in central Behsud. The Mujahideen fought bravely against these heavily armed troops and forced them to retreat toward Wardak Province. In this battle, several Mujahideen, including Martyr Haji Khadem, Haji Awaz, Arbab Ishaq, Musa, and Sheikh Mohammad Younus, were martyred in the area of Koh Nala, near the wall of Qol Markaz Behsud. The pure bodies of the martyrs remained at the site for several days and nights, yet no wild animal caused them harm. When the blessed body of Martyr Haji Khadem was brought for ritual washing after several days, blood continued to flow from his body. Despite the efforts of his uncle, Sheikh Haji Ali Juma Modarres, and other scholars to stop the bleeding, they could not. They realized that this was the sacred blood of a martyr, which does not cease to flow. Finally, his pure body was transferred to his birthplace in Joi Zangi, Sang Shanda  and laid to rest. This is a summary of the life of Martyr Haji Khadem — a man who devoted his life to serving the people and defending his homeland. The memory of him and all the oppressed martyrs of Afghanistan will forever live 
زندگینامه شهید حاجی خادمفرزند سید محمد و ولدیت علی رضا(۱۳۰۳–۱۳۵۸ هجری شمسی)شهید حاجی خادم در سال ۱۳۰۳ هجری شمسی در خانواده‌ای مسلمان و متدین در قریه جویزنگی، سنگشانده، ولسوالی مرکز بهسود، ولایت وردک افغانستان دیده به جهان گشود. دوران کودکی را در زادگاهش سپری کرد و برای کسب علم و دانش، در مسجد محل به فراگیری قرآن کریم و چهار کتاب ابتدایی پرداخت. او در خط ، خواندن ،چه دستنویس و چه چاپی، مهارت داشت و در محاسبات ریاضی نیز تبحر ویژه‌ای داشت.در سنین نوجوانی، با از دست دادن پدر، مسئولیت خانواده بر دوش او افتاد. تحت سرپرستی مادر بزرگوار و برادر بزرگترش، ناظر حسین، به تلاش و کوشش برای تأمین معاش خانواده پرداخت. دوره خدمت سربازی خود را در قوای کار افغانستان، در نانوایی بند ماهیپر، مسیر جاده جلال‌آباد-کابل، گذراند. در کنار خدمت سربازی، از فرصت‌های فراغت برای کار با مهندسان آلمانی استفاده می‌کرد تا درآمد بیشتری برای خانواده‌اش کسب کند. او خود نقل می‌کرد که شب‌ها در نانوایی خدمت می‌کرد و روزها بدون استراحت، به اضافه کاری نزد مهندسان آلمانی می‌پرداخت.پس از پایان دوره سربازی، به کار و تجارت کوچک در روستاهای اطراف پرداخت. شهید حاجی خادم، مردی شجاع، سخاوتمند و مهربان بود. او با فقرا و یتیمان همدردی می‌کرد و به آنان کمک می‌رساند. به تدریج، به عنوان یک شخصیت متنفذ و تاجر خوشنام در منطقه شناخته شد. او فردی زیرک، هوشیار و پرتلاش بود و با تمام اقوام افغانستان روابط حسنه داشت. مهمان‌نواز بود و همواره معلمان مدارس دولتی و روحانیون را به منزل خود دعوت می‌کرد و آنان را به اتحاد و همدلی در راه آموزش و پرورش فرزندان وطن تشویق می‌نمود.در سال ۱۳۵۷، شهید حاجی خادم از منطقه سنگشانده به کابل نقل مکان کرد. همزمان با به قدرت رسیدن حزب دموکراتیک خلق و آغاز ظلم و ستم این حزب بر مردم افغانستان، او نیز به جمع مجاهدین ولسوالی مرکز بهسود پیوست. در سال ۱۳۵۸، نیروهای دولتی تحت فرماندهی شهنواز تنی، برای سرکوب مجاهدین به ولسوالی مرکز بهسود حمله کردند. مجاهدین دلیرانه در برابر این نیروهای تا دندان مسلح مقاومت کردند و آنان را مجبور به عقب‌نشینی به ولایت وردک نمودند.در این نبرد، تعدادی از مجاهدین از جمله شهید حاجی خادم، حاجی عوض، ارباب اسحاق، موسی و شیخ محمد یونس در منطقه کوه ناله سری دیوال قول مرکز بهسود به شهادت رسیدند. پیکر پاک شهدا چندین شبانه‌روز در همان محل باقی ماند، اما هیچ آسیبی از سوی حیوانات وحشی به آنان نرسیده بود.هنگامی که پیکر مطهر شهید حاجی خادم را برای غسل آوردند، پس از گذشت چند شبانه‌روز، از تمام بدن ایشان خون جاری بود. تلاش‌های مامایش، شیخ حاجی علی جمعه مدرس و دیگر روحانیون برای قطع خونریزی بی‌نتیجه ماند. آنان دریافتند که این خون، خون شهید است قطع نمی‌شود. سرانجام، پیکر مطهر شهید حاجی خادم را به زادگاهش در قریه جویزنگی سنگشانده منتقل و به خاک سپردند.این بود خلاصه‌ای از زندگینامه شهید حاجی خادم، مردی که زندگی خود را وقف خدمت به مردم و دفاع از وطن کرد. یاد و خاطره او و دیگر شهدای مظلوم افغانستان همواره در دل مردم این سرزمین زنده خواهد ماند.روحش شاد و راهش پرفروغ   باد
